MEET YOUR COACH

BETH ANDREW

I have been a USA Triathlon Certified coach for over ten years. I became a Level I Coach in 2010 and gained my Level II Endurance certification in 2017. I am trained in exercise physiology, triathlon-specific training techniques, endurance nutrition and periodization and planning.

I am based in Wilmington, North Carolina and coach world-wide. I specialize in virtual and long-distance endurance coaching. Our team extends from the east coast to Charlotte and from Richmond to Raleigh and many points between. We have athletes in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Jamaica and Canada.

In the past ten years, I’ve coached 30+ athletes on my personal roster to multiple sprint and international distance races, 12 iron-distance races and 15 half-iron distance races. Eleven of those athletes were newcomers to long-course and ultra-distance triathlon.

Since 2010, I’ve been a coach for the YDubTriClub and have coached 10-15 members on that team each year to sprint and international distance finishes.

A life-long runner, I became a triathlete in 2008. Since then, I have competed in 60+ sprint, international, half-iron and iron distance triathlons. In 2023, I completed the IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Kona, Hawaii as a legacy athlete. I am a Pilates instructor at IN BALANCE PILATES in Wilmington, NC. When I am not training, racing or coaching swimbikerun, I am most likely outdoors with my husband Ace, or our Boykin Spaniel, Sunny Day.
